The NAMBUIT PLATFORM is 100% user-friendly.
Upon Logon unto the platform, you are welcomed by a homepage that is so simple and yet sophisticated with all the information you will ever need at the tip of your finger.
The user interface is set up with the end-user in mind; as every information on the home-screen directly portrays the user info, session time, company, designation, date and time of the last login, as well as how many times the user attempted before successfully signing in.
Each of the menu is placed strategically to avoid page clustering and for ease of access.

Absolutely!!! The NAMBUIT platform is what we call in cyberspace “Food on Mobile”. As much as you can access it from anywhere at any time, it is also worthy of note that the application is PLATFORM INDEPENDENT. This means that you can access it on any platform of your choice. Android, IOS, MAC Windows e.t.c.

What is the turnaround time for Migrating banks unto the platforms?
The migration turnaround time is totally dependent on the accuracy of the data as well as the timeliness on the part of the migrating bank to send it in for migration. Assuming all the data supplied are accurately populated in the migration templates and are duly validated using the CBN NAMBUIT VALIDATOR, then the migration will be completed in a maximum 24 hours.

The R16 MicroBanking version.
How do MFBs come on-board as part of the pilot phase?
The pilot phase is going live with 111 MFBs and these MFBs have already been chosen by CBN and NAMB based on some key and agreed criteria. If you are not listed among the 111 MFBs but you want to join this batch, call 090 7000 1414; 090 7000 9191.

How many days would INLAKS SEAMLESS migration take?
This will be communicated to you as part of the Data Migration Plan as at when due.
What are your plans for data loss prevention upon migration?
We have Data Migration tools that work against data loss during migration. Upon migration, there will be data reconciliation by the data owner to ensure all data has been taken on.
How would the migration take place?
A Migration Plan and Timetable will be sent to all MFBs involved before Go-Live.
Where would our database be upon migration?
You will have a copy on-premise. We will keep a copy at the CBN approved Data Centre and a backup at a CBN approved Data Recovery Center.
Who is responsible for the Migration?
Inlaks will be responsible for migration. Each MFB will be responsible for the data that Inlaks will migrate on their behalf. Inlaks will have resources available on phone and chat to support all MFBs to map their data correctly. We will also have information available to you on the NAMBUIT website www.inlaks-nambuit.com
Is there any room for Migration?
Yes. All your relevant data will be migrated to your profile on the platform after you have gone through the process of data cleansing, data mapping and validation. After which you will do a data reconciliation before you go live on the platform.
Can all our services be migrated to the NAMBUIT platform upon 'Go Live'?
All your services will not be migrated to the Platform but most of your business requirements features (95%) will be available on the platform for your use.
Would INLAKS be on ground during the MIGRATION?
Yes. We will support all MFBs during the Migration period. We will have resources available on phone and chat to support you. We will also have information available to you on the NAMBUIT website www.inlaks-nambuit.com
When we transition to T24, what happens to our transactions during the cut-covers?
All transactions will be taken on during the transition.
Can the platform manage Interbank/Intercommercial Bank transfers?
Yes, it can.
We initially had issues with compiling CBN returns until Bankone automated it, hope the NAMBUIT software would address it better?
CBN returns and all other regulatory reports will be fully automated on the NAMBUIT platform.
What of connectivity of MFBs to a 3rd party vendors and integration?
Connection to relevant Third Party Vendors will be seamless on the platform.
Can MFBs transfer hit them directly without going through a corresponding bank?
MFB to MFB transfers will be direct and will not go through any correspondence bank. But MFB transfers to other Financial Institutions will go through clearing and settlement at the NOC Centre.
With this platform, can MFBs have account with CBN? Since we are to demistify the role of 3rd party agents like the commercial banks?
No. Accounts will be with the NOC Center and not the CBN.
Will this platform address MFBs cheque clearance?
Yes, it will.
Assuming that the database of NAMBUIT is centralized, can it checkmate double borrowing from one hub of MFB to another?
Yes, it will.
Is the platform robust enough to accomodate Standing order loans, not interest based profit sharing loans?
Yes, it will.
Can the platform reverse and correct inaccurate postings?
Yes, based on individual or group profiles, reversals and corrections can be done on the platform.
Can we use an MFB card on Commercial Banks ATM Machine?
Yes. NIBSS will be on board the platform and will ensure that your customers access transactions on commercial banks ATMs and other services and vice versa.
Can we transfer to commercial banks?
Yes. NIBSS will be on board the platform and will ensure that your customers can carry out transfers to commercial banks and vice versa.
Can the NAMBUIT platform automate ATM transaction to customer account and discard the manual process presently in use?

The relationship will be based on business transactions only. The current functions of Correspondence Banks will be moved to the NOC Center.

Since the platform is Cloud-based, how do we BACKUP?
Backup can be done both at your end and at the platform end. On the platform end, a Primary Datacentre will host your data and Data Recovery Centre will back it up in case of any emergencies. That said, it is also imperative that you always have an on-premise backup for your data.
Can we have a back-up server on-premise in case of downtime?
Yes, every MFB must have a copy of their Database on-premise.
Would INLAKS backup our transactions?
All transactions and database will be backed up in a Data Recovery Center in case of any losses.
What is the cost of acquisition?
There is no cost of acquisition. CBN has taken responsibility for the initial cost of set up. There is a cost implication which though minimal cannot be confirmed yet. Payment will be on a Pay-as-you-Use Monthly Subscription basis. The subscription payment will take off after the first year.

Yes. The platform will support as many Third Party Service Providers as are willing to join the platform and are approved by CBN
Can NAMBUIT platform enable a "Quick Teller" feature as NIBSS does, with a 'Drop-Down' of all other banks?
Yes it will.
Can this platform integrate with our ATMs alive on Mastercard and Verve which we have made huge investment in and having a good number in stock?
Yes. The paltform will integrate with existing ATMs.
What happends to our debit cards and fund transfers and ATM withdrawals still valid and viabke when we cut-over to the Temenos Application?
All channel transactions will be carried into the new system automatically. Any transactions that happen while the system is changing may need to be input manually on Go-Live.
Would this platform stop us from acquiring POS from GTBank?
Would this platform stop us from acquiring POS from GTBank? The platform will enable you own your own POS machines and issue directly to customers.
With NAMBUIT interconnectivity with NIBSS, won't there be a correspondent bank for settlement of accounts?
As you know MFBs don’t have accounts with CBN. Yes there will be a NOC Center that will be responsible for this.
Being on NUBAN and migrating to NAMBUIT T24, would it change our account numbers?
No. Your account numbers will be maintained as NUBAN.
Is it NUBAN compliant?
Yes, it is.
On NAMBUIT, would new account numbers be generated?
Yes.
Can we have access to CBN in terms of NUBAN and BVN without passing through a 3rd party Commercial Bank?
Yes. This will pass through the NOC Center.

Can customer BVN be updated on this platform?
The platform supports the BVN model but BVN registration will not be done on the platform.
How would integration with NIBSS generate and authenticate BVN?
We are working with NIBSS on all NIBSS connected requirements.

Would there be a pre-migration training for the MFBs?

If we discontinue our Legacy software by 31st December 2017, what exact day will the phase 1 come live?

Can we run parallel and yank off our legacy software upon 2nd "Go Live"?
That will be a decision internal to your bank management.
